Slugworks

A CREATORSPACE FOR SLUGS.

Slugworks is an open and inclusive, student-focused collaborative experiential learning space located in the basement of the Jack Baskin Engineering Building (Engineering 1) .

Slugworks is completely open-access and non-major specific. We offer countless opportunities to any student from any background, regardless of their level of technical experience. Our foundational ethos focuses on promoting inclusivity, accessibility and diversity in order to cultivate a creative, synergetic community fueled by imagination, inspiration and innovation.

The work space’s technical resources are as far-reaching and diverse as the students we hope to attract – our offerings range from CNC routers and mills, to screen printing,  sewing machines, various hand tools, laser cutters, metal fabrication tools and everything in between. We will be offering weekly student-lead, hands-on workshops that cover a myriad of topics geared to explore the intersection of art, design and technology.
